Game 6 of the 2011 World Series will no doubt go down as one of the greatest baseball games ever played, if not the greatest. The Rangers (who lost the 2010 World Series as well) were just one strike away from winning the World Series in 6 Games when the Cardinals mounted an amazing comeback to send the game into extra innings, in the Top of the 10th the Rangers slugger Josh Hamilton hit a 2-run homer, making it look like a World Series win was again in the grasp of the Rangers, down to the final strike of their season for the second time that night the Cards would again come back on a Lance Berkman single to send the game to the 11th inning, and the Cards would win the game on a David Freese walkoff homerun. The game was made even more significant the next night when the Cardinals would win Game 7 to win the World Series.
